About NU CGPA Calculator

Who Built This?

NU CGPA Calculator was designed and built by Kawsar Arafat, a developer based in Bangladesh with a passion for building tools that make student life easier. This project grew out of a simple frustration — calculating your NU CGPA manually is tedious, error-prone, and time-consuming. There had to be a better way.

Why Was It Built?

Every year, hundreds of thousands of students across Bangladesh enrol in National University programmes. Yet there was no reliable, department-specific tool to help them track their academic performance in real time — only generic calculators that required manually looking up credit hours and grade point values.

This calculator solves that. It knows your exact syllabus — every course, every credit — so you do not have to look anything up. Select your department, enter your grades, and your GPA and CGPA are calculated instantly using the official NU 4.00-point grading scale.

What Does It Cover?

The calculator currently supports all major National University programmes under both the 2024–2025 and 2013–2014 syllabuses, including:

  • BSc Honours — Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics, Statistics, and more
