Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
The NU CGPA Calculator is designed with privacy-first principles. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identifiable information (PII), academic records, or student IDs to any external servers. The only personal information we may receive is what you voluntarily submit through our Contact page — your name, email address, and message — which is processed securely by Web3Forms.
2. Local Storage & Data Persistence
To provide a seamless experience, we use your browser's native localStorage to save the grades you enter. Your academic data never leaves your personal device. If you clear your browser cache or use a different device, your grades will not carry over. No grade data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.
3. Third-Party Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics to understand overall website traffic and how users navigate the site. This data is aggregated and anonymized and cannot be traced back to individual users. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. Advertising & Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this website. Google AdSense is a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC. To serve relevant ads, Google and its partners may use cookies and web beacons to collect information about your visits to this and other websites.
Google may use the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other sites on the internet. We do not have access to or control over the cookies that Google uses in connection with its advertising services. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. You can also visit aboutads.info to opt out of third-party personalized advertising.
