CGPA Formula Used by National University Bangladesh
The NU CGPA is a credit-weighted average. For each course, multiply the earned grade points by the course's credit hours. Sum all of these products across every course, then divide by the total credits attempted (including failed courses). This gives the standard formula:
Courses with an F grade contribute their full credits to the denominator but zero points to the numerator, accurately lowering the CGPA as intended by NU guidelines. Courses with no grade entered are excluded from the calculation.
This Pali CGPA calculator is an independent tool and is not officially affiliated with National University Bangladesh. Always verify your final results with your college administration. Syllabus data is sourced from publicly available NU documents for the 2024-2025 academic year.
